What is Color Guard?
Color Guard is a combination of the use of flags, sabers, mock rifles, and other equipment, as well as dance and other interpretive movements. Color Guards can be found in high schools, middle schools, universities, and other independent organizations, some of which are related to drum corps. The Foothill Color Guard performs with the internationally recognized Foothill Marching Band in the Fall and then performs and competes on their own in the Spring. Foothill Color Guard members receive class credit for Rhythmic Precision, Marching Band, and earn a PE II waiver!
