The Foothill Band and Color Guard perform at home varsity football games, pep rallies, assemblies, parades, field show competitions, and other special events throughout the year. Students on this roster are expected to attend pre-season rehearsals beginning in July, participate in rehearsals during the school day, and attend evening rehearsals when applicable. Not all students are guaranteed a spot in the competitive show. Students must demonstrate adequate performance skills, work ethic, positive attitude as well as maintain satisfactory attendance. The Foothill Band Staff will make decisions regarding performer/alternate status during the week of July 28-August 1, 2025.
Marching band fees for the 2025 season are $800 per student. Fees help cover a wide range of expenses including: music, choreography, equipment, uniforms, food, fuel, hotels, and part-time staff. We have dozens of fundraisers throughout the year. Color Guard, Percussion, and Student Leaders are to report on Monday, July 21, 2025. Brass and Woodwinds are to report on Monday, July 28, 2025.
